The long waited Dragon’s Dogma 2 got released after 12 years waiting and made a overall success. Besides the DLC and microtransactions controversy, the game became of the most popular games of Q1 2024. But the success keeps revealing more, as announced from Capcom, the game hit 3 million players worldwide.

Capcom has been increasing their success since release of Resident Evil 7. With the RE Engine developed by them, they bring a lot of good looking games to the gaming industry. After the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2, we saw that RE Engine will also support open world perfectly, so Capcom might bring more open world games as well.

Capcom also brings their old games to present with Remake versions. Their success to open discuss but we can say that the publisher keeps the horror active in their hands. Meanwhile, series such as Monster Hunter and Street Fighter are refining their formula and hoarding records.
