Gigabyte X870/X870E Prices
The X870 and X870E motherboard chipset uses the same AM5 processor socket as previous iterations, such as the B650 and X670 chipsets. AMD CPUs like the Ryzen 9000 series and the Ryzen 7000 lineup will be compatible with Gigabyte’s new X870 and X870E motherboards, which will be made with power users in mind. Features like multiple m.2 SSD slots, compatibility with PCIe Gen 5 peripherals, and AIO fan controls built into the system BIOS may appeal to PC gamers looking to build a high end rig.
According to Twitter user momomo_us, a leaked price list from New York based retailer B&H showed that Gigabyte’s X870 and X870E lineup will start at $219 for the Gigabyte X870 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi motherboard. The next two products listed, the X870 Eagle Wi-Fi 7 and the X870 Gaming X Wi-Fi 7 motherboards, were given the mid range motherboard prices of $229 and $249, respectively. The most expensive motherboard included in the price leak is the Gigabyte X870E Aorus Xtreme AI Top listed at $799.
