God of War: Ragnarok delivers up to 100 FPS at maximum settings at 4K resolution with the NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics card. The PC version of the game looks set to deliver a mesmerizing experience, especially when coupled with high-end hardware.
God of War: Ragnarok PC Performance will be 100 FPS with RTX 4090
According to data provided by NVIDIA, God of War: Ragnarok hits 100 FPS at native 4K resolution and maximum graphics settings using the NVIDIA RTX 4090. This impressive performance was achieved in tests with an Intel Core i9 14900K processor and 64GB of RAM. Other graphics cards offer similarly impressive performance, with the RTX 4080 Super, for example, delivering 78 FPS and the RTX 4070Ti Super delivering frame rates of over 60 FPS.
However, it’s not yet clear which scenes NVIDIA used to run these tests. Scenes with more intense graphical detail may see a drop in performance. Still, these results clearly demonstrate the game’s performance potential.
The PC version of the game is not limited to high hardware demands. God of War: Ragnarok also supports advanced graphics technologies such as DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1 and XeSS 1.3. These technologies provide players with a smoother experience and increase performance without sacrificing visual quality.
