Sources within EA say the company’s current strategy has significantly diminished the chances of reviving Dead Space. Fans of the 17-year-old series had been hoping for a new game, especially after the successful remake released in 2023. However, insider information suggests the series won’t even be on the table in the near future. This has further dampened enthusiasm for the long-dormant franchise.

Despite this, the door isn’t completely closed.
