Cross-Play and New Update in Call of Duty

Call of Duty has long been criticized for combating cheaters. To solve this problem, Activision has included the option to disable cross-play in the Season 3 update. With this feature, console players will be able to play games only with players on their own platform, preventing them from being matched with players from other platforms. This change stands out as an important innovation, especially for Black Ops 6’s standard multiplayer modes.

The new season also includes measures such as improving the anti-cheat Ricochet system, shutting down cheat providers, and removing illegally obtained skins from some players during matches. This comprehensive approach aims to create a safer environment for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone players.

Black Ops 6 Season 3 will kick off on April 2 and will include a new battle pass, additional DLC weapons, operator skins, multiplayer maps, and a brand new Shattered Veil Zombies map. Warzone will also be updated on April 3, bringing back the classic Verdansk map, which will offer a nostalgic experience with the original Gulag design and 150-player matches.

This major update for Call of Duty aims to win over players with both cross-play and other content. Players can’t wait to see how the new features will make a difference in the game.
