Lucia in GTA 6 is Acting Like She Doesn’t Know She’s Lucia

Since the release of the first trailer for GTA 6, there has been strong speculation that Manni Perez will play the character of Lucia. While Rockstar Games hasn’t officially announced the cast yet, Perez’s role in the project isn’t confirmed, but fans have been almost certain he’s Lucia for nearly three years. A recent Instagram post by Perez, following his return to the platform, suggested he was amusing these rumors.

GTA 6 Fans Quickly Catch Manni Perez’s Joke

In an Instagram story he later deleted, Perez showed that his account had reached 18 million views in the last 30 days. He expressed surprise, saying he didn’t know what that number meant. He also jokingly mentioned that one of his most popular posts showed his acne patches and pimples clearly visible.

Of course, GTA 6 fans immediately linked this post to the Lucia rumors. Some users even suggested that Perez’s statement, “I don’t know what this is,” might be a reference to a line Lucia says in the extended GTA 6 trailer. There’s no confirmation that this was a deliberate reference.

Rockstar has yet to confirm whether Perez is Lucia. However, it’s known that she constantly receives messages about GTA 6 and Lucia in the comments section of her social media posts. The fact that she even closed her Instagram account in the past due to intense attention and harassment shows how widespread these rumors were.

Now, Perez seems to be taking a more lighthearted approach. Even if she did play Lucia, Rockstar’s strict secrecy policies prevent her from openly admitting it. Therefore, her acting as if she doesn’t know the reason for the 18 million views has only made the rumors more amusing in the eyes of the GTA 6 community, rather than diminishing them.
