Developers has confirmed the schedule for Mortal Kombat 1 DLC fighters for Kombat Pack 1.
Mortal Kombat 1 DLC package will bring a lot of characters
Just like other Mortal Kombat games, NetherRealm is planning to expand character list with DLC. And also like other modern Mortal Kombat games, Mortal Kombat 1 DLC is a mix of original characters and guest fighters, with Mortal Kombat 1’s guest fighters all hailing from comic books.
The first Mortal Kombat 1 DLC fighter to join the roster post launch will be Invincible’s Omni-Man, set to make his debut in November 2023.
NetherRealm confirmed Omni-Man’s release window at New York Comic Con, where the game’s DLC release schedule was also confirmed. Joining Omni-Man in November will be the Kameo fighter Tremor, while Quan Chi is coming in winter 2023/2024, followed by Peacemaker in the same release window. Ermac and Homelander from The Boys are both expected to come spring 2024. The last DLC character to join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster as part of Kombat Pack 1 will be Takeda Takahashi, who will be available at some point in summer 2024.

Besides Tremor dropping in November, Mortal Kombat 1 didn’t reveal specific release plans for the other DLC Kameo Fighters. Fans do know that Ferra, Janet Cage, Khameleon, and Mavado are all coming to Mortal Kombat 1 at some point down the line, but it remains to be seen exactly one. One has to imagine they will be paired up with DLC characters, like how Tremor is coming in the same month as Omni-Man, but perhaps the pairings haven’t been decided yet.
Mortal Kombat 1 is out now for PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X.
