New Map Plans for Forza Horizon 6 have been Revealed
Playground Games has begun to gradually share details about the new game in the series. In a recent interview, the development team discussed the design process of the Forza Horizon 6 map and the kind of world they are building this time. According to the statements, Forza Horizon 6 aims to offer a much richer and more dynamic map based on feedback from players on previous games.
Forza Horizon 6 Map Will Take Place in Japan
The development team says they carefully analyzed player feedback when designing the new game’s map. In particular, the fact that the Forza Horizon 5 map consisted largely of desert regions was criticized by some players. Therefore, Playground Games is focusing on creating a much more diverse and dense world in the new game.
According to the announcements, Forza Horizon 6 will feature a Japan-themed map, with large city areas, particularly Tokyo, being a key part of the game. Players will feel the environment constantly changing as they move from narrow streets to wide city avenues.
According to the developers, even small-scale environmental changes can make the map feel more vibrant. Emerging from a side street to a wide highway or moving from the suburbs to the city center gives players a much stronger sense of exploration.
Playground Games also states that the Forza Horizon 6 map will include different biomes. In addition to Tokyo, various natural areas and different environmental designs will be incorporated into the game world. Thus, the goal is for the new Horizon map to be richer and offer more areas to explore compared to previous games in the series.
