Ninja Marathon Couldn’t Last Even an Hour
Marathon, a standout among next-generation shooter games, has garnered a wide range of reactions from players since its release. Developed by Bungie, this extraction shooter game is particularly noteworthy for its challenging gameplay. While some players appreciate the high level of competition and intense gameplay, others find the experience excessively tiring.
Ninja Ends Marathon Stream Early
World-renowned streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins also decided to try the game live on its release day. During the stream, Ninja told his viewers that he always approaches newly released games with an open mind, and after playing various games for a few hours, he switched to Marathon. Initially, he seemed quite motivated and openly expressed his desire to give the new game a chance.
Things didn’t go too badly in his first few attempts. Ninja encountered some rival players, emerged victorious from a few skirmishes, and even managed to escape the map with loot. However, about an hour after starting the game, things unexpectedly changed, and his experience suddenly became quite frustrating.
While exploring a building, Ninja engaged in a skirmish with real players, managing to defeat two opponents. Just as he was collecting loot, he was attacked by a powerful AI enemy. Caught off guard, the streamer was quickly neutralized. Following this, Ninja expressed his frustration on live stream, stating that the game’s AI enemies were even more difficult than the real players.
After this incident, Ninja decided to quit the game and ended his stream early. Since Marathon is a newly released game, it seems likely that player feedback will be taken into account by the developers. Nevertheless, Ninja’s first experience wasn’t very positive, and the game’s difficulty level is already becoming a subject of debate.
