Project Helix Price Could Exceed $1000

As rumors about next-generation consoles intensify, the latest claim regarding Project Helix has caught the attention of gamers. It has long been said that Microsoft’s new Xbox console will have incredibly powerful hardware. However, this power seems likely to come with a high price tag.

Project Helix May Be More Expensive Than Expected

Moore’s Law Is Dead, a technology content creator known for leaks, suggested in a recent post that Project Helix could cost at least $1000. Some calculations even suggest the price could reach $1500 depending on the system’s cost. However, it is particularly emphasized that such a high price could provoke a negative reaction from gamers.

The biggest reason for the console’s high price might be its powerful hardware. Rumors suggest that Project Helix will have a hybrid structure capable of running both Xbox and PC games. This means users will be able to run Windows-based applications and access stores like Steam and Battle.net.

A significant leap is expected in terms of hardware. Claims suggest the console’s graphics performance could be up to 5 times stronger in rasterization and up to 20 times stronger in ray tracing compared to the current Xbox Series X model. This means the device could offer performance close to some high-end gaming PCs.

Of course, all of this is just rumor for now. Microsoft has not yet announced an official price or technical details for Project Helix. However, with rising hardware costs and the ongoing RAM crisis, the possibility that next-generation consoles could be much more expensive than the previous generation is increasingly being discussed.
