Screamer Release Date Announced

Screamer, a long-awaited arcade racing game, has finally received a confirmed release date. The announcement from Milestone is a significant development for players eagerly anticipating the game’s futuristic atmosphere and fast-paced racing. Screamer aims to offer a modern take on classic racing games with its visual style and competitive gameplay.

Screamer’s Expected Release Schedule Revealed

Screamer will be released on March 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. PC players will be able to access the game via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Milestone also confirmed that the game will be available in different editions upon release. In addition to the standard edition, a more comprehensive Digital Deluxe edition will also be offered.

The standard edition includes a special skin pack offered as a pre-order bonus along with the game itself. The Digital Deluxe edition comes with additional content such as extra customization options for vehicles, different visual styles, and early access advantages. Players who choose this edition will gain three days of early access to Screamer, allowing them to participate in races sooner. This offers a significant advantage for competitive players.

The world of Screamer revolves around a brutal tournament involving drivers from diverse backgrounds. Soldiers, scientists, criminals, and celebrities – very different characters – cross paths in this race. Each driver has their own unique vehicle and a special ability that provides an advantage during the race. This system adds a strategic layer to the races, increasing the importance of not only speed but also precise timing.

In terms of gameplay, Screamer goes beyond the classic racing concept with a special technology called ECHO. Vehicles don’t just race; they also compete. This structure, full of bursts of speed, defensive maneuvers, and attacks, gives the game an action-packed tempo.
