The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival Announced

The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival has been officially announced by Trailmark Games and Odaclick Game Studio. Reminiscent of Streets of Rage, this side-scrolling beat ’em up game will take players to familiar locations and characters from the AMC series’ universe. A demo is currently available on Steam. The full version will be released soon for PlayStation 5, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival Focuses on Arcade Action

The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival is based on the television universe of the series. Therefore, players will fight in arcade-style reinterpretations of familiar areas from the series. The game will feature characters such as Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne. Each character will have their own unique fighting style, stats, and special abilities. Rick’s magnum, Michonne’s katana, and Daryl’s crossbow will also be among the weapons that can be used in combat.

Players will face not only the walking dead, but also familiar enemy groups and boss characters from the series. The main The Walking Dead series aired between 2010 and 2022, offering many memorable characters, locations, and threats over the years. The new game aims to draw on this long period, particularly reusing iconic elements from the series’ main universe within an arcade action setting.
