Wolfenstein, one of the most established brands in FPS history, made a strong comeback with The New Order in 2014. However, after the spin-off Youngblood in 2019, the series fell silent. Although there has been no official announcement in the more than five years since, rumors have circulated that a new main game in the Wolfenstein universe is on the way. Signs for Wolfenstein 3 are Strengthening
Jez Corden, known for his leaks in the industry, claims that MachineGames is actively working on Wolfenstein 3. Other confirmations support this claim. Although no official announcement has been made yet, the studio’s recent small hints about a “mysterious project” are noteworthy.
Another detail that strengthens this possibility is that MachineGames planned Wolfenstein as a trilogy from the beginning. Past statements from studio executives indicated that the main story was not yet complete. With The Old Blood being a prequel and Youngblood a spin-off, the third main game is still considered the missing link.
The timing is also quite significant. Bethesda’s 40th anniversary in 2026 and the existence of a series of projects set in the Wolfenstein universe create a suitable ground for a possible announcement. Putting all this together, the possibility of Wolfenstein 3 being announced in the near future seems quite strong.
