Xbox Game Pass August 2026 Wave 1 Games Announced
The first part of the Xbox Game Pass August 2026 schedule has been officially announced. This time, Microsoft has prepared a very wide selection, ranging from action role-playing games to simulations, strategy games, and survival adventures. A total of 12 games will be added to the library in the first half of the month, and subscribers will also have the opportunity to access the Gears of War: E-Day early access beta.

Among the most notable titles on the list is Beast of Reincarnation, an action role-playing game from Game Freak, arriving in the library from day one. Grounded 2 gets a larger world, new exploration areas, and expanded survival mechanics with the Into the Abyss update. PowerWash Simulator 2 also returns for those who want to relax while cleaning.
Those looking for something different can form romantic relationships with household objects in Date Everything!, or try to guide a fragile egg through dangerous obstacle courses in Egging On. Mio: Memories in Orbit offers an atmospheric metroidvania experience, while Sandustry focuses on building production lines in completely destructible worlds.
Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members will have early access to the Gears of War: E-Day open beta starting August 6th. Meanwhile, Menace, Atlas Fallen, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and Firewatch will leave the library on August 15th. The first wave of Xbox Game Pass August 2026 clearly leaves at least one game for almost every type of player to try.
