Xbox Series X has been Ported to PC
The Xbox Series X has made headlines this time not with a classic news story, but with a truly “how was this made?” project. A content creator completely disassembled the console and replaced it with PC hardware, essentially turning the device into a gaming PC. While it still looks like an Xbox from the outside, the inside tells a completely different story.
PC Built Inside Xbox Series X
The hardware used in the project is built on a small but powerful computer board. Inside, there’s a powerful processor, a large amount of RAM, and a fast SSD. The most interesting part is that a graphics card has also been added. This system doesn’t just “run,” it actually offers performance capable of running games.
Of course, fitting all this hardware into such a narrow chassis isn’t easy. That’s where the main part of the work begins. The project used specially designed 3D-printed parts, and all components were placed down to the millimeter. Airflow and cooling were meticulously planned, otherwise the system wouldn’t work.
One of the best details is that the device hasn’t completely lost its identity. Some parts, like the disc drive, have been preserved, and even the power button is still functional. So, from the outside, you still see an Xbox Series X, but inside, you’re looking at a PC. This makes the project even more impressive.
In terms of performance, the results look pretty good. The system runs stably, and temperature values remain at acceptable levels. This shows that the work wasn’t just for show, but a truly usable system.
