A Resident Evil Requiem Character is Coming to Fortnite
As the countdown to Resident Evil Requiem continues, an unexpected crossover collaboration has emerged. Even before Capcom’s new horror game is released, activity has already begun on the Fortnite front. According to leaks, a new face from Resident Evil Requiem is stepping into the battle royale arena.
Resident Evil Requiem Character in Fortnite
According to information shared by the reliable leak source HYPEX, Grace Ashcroft, one of the playable characters from Resident Evil Requiem, will be added to Fortnite on February 28th. This collaboration will be the latest addition to the series, following the previous arrivals of characters such as Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, and Claire Redfield to Fortnite.
According to rumors, players who pre-order or purchase Resident Evil Requiem through the Epic Games Store will be able to get the Grace Ashcroft skin for free in Fortnite. However, the same Epic account must be used for both games. For those who want to purchase the skin separately, it will be available in the store for a limited time.
Grace’s Fortnite design retains the character’s dark and survival-focused aesthetic while offering a battle royale-style look. Considering Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on February 27th, this collaboration is seen as a timely promotional move.
On the other hand, it remains unclear whether Leon and Claire will return in this wave. Leaks suggest that the old skins haven’t been updated yet, indicating that the duo might not be included with Grace. However, given Fortnite’s unpredictable nature, it wouldn’t be surprising to see new Resident Evil content in the coming days.
