Warhammer 40,000 Darkside currently has 4 classes for you to choose. Like the MMO games two of them are DPS, one healer and one tank. These classes are: Veteran Sharpshooter, Zealot Preacher, Ogryn Skullbreaker, Psyker Psykinetic.

Darktide has currently four classes. These Warhammer Darktide classes are:

Veteran Sharpshooter
The Veteran Sharpshooter is a class who can deal high amount of ranged damage to dangerous types of Heretics, such as elites, specials and bosses. The Sharpshooter’s Volley Fire has a short bursts of even higher ranged damage, also gives you ability to spot dangerous enemies through cover.
This class mainly focused on dealing threats from distance, but you have to be careful, otherwise it can cause some problems for your team as well. The player who choose this class have to be mastered in aiming. If you are good at aim, then you can be better Sharpshooter.
The Sharpshooter is also effective in close combat. You can use Power Sword to cut your enemies with pressing special activation ability.

Zealot Preacher
Zealot Preacher is a class who mainly focused on melee combat and clearing hordes of enemies.
The Zealot boasts high mobility, also can resist lethal damage, after some levels up, you can also get self-heal with it’s Chastise the Wicked class ability. All of these things ar efor aggressive playstyle, but there’s also good selection for ranged weapons as well.
The Zealot Preacher is class where you can say it has “hybrid combat”. If you are a Vermintide 2 veteran player, then this class will most likely will sound familiar to you.
Ogryn Skullbreaker
If you like using brute force and make your enemies fly around in video games, then Ogryn Skullbreaker class is best for you.
With huge brute strength and increased durability, the Ogryn is a natural frontline class, also capable of staggering vast majority of enemies in order to keep the team safe.
Ogryn’s Bull Rush ability allows you to charge through enemies, you can use this ability to help your teammates or close the distance between you and dangerous gunners. Unlike the other Warhammer Darktide classes, the Ogryn can revive and asist teammates without interrupted by taking damage.

Psyker Psykinetic
The Psyker is the least durable class in terms of base health and toughness, but in spite of this boasts huge versatility and can call on the powers of the Warp to deal huge amounts of damage to enemies or keep them stunned.
Weapons like the Force Sword allows them to work well as a mele heavy-hitter, there are also an array of staves to choose from, each one channels the warp to take down enemies in different ways, burning, electrocuting and exploding makes great effect.
The Psyker’s Brain Burst ability allows you to deal big amount of damage to dangerous enemies, but it also takes a while to charge up and you can’t do much while you are channeling it, so it requires a little bit of practice.
What class to play in Warhammer Darktide?
All Warhammer Darktide classes can handle the highest difficulties so you can try all of them and decide which one is best for you but the Veteran can be the best class in the game. Their extremely high single target damage is pretty good, also the Veteran’s incredible horde clearing tools makes them safest option for clearing enemies.
But keep that in mind that they are not the fastest class in the game, as for speed matter, Zealot can beat the Veteran pretty easy, with their ability to go through hordes.
In terms of killing enemies, there is not a better class than the Veteran. The Veteran has a ability which makes them deal 50% improved damage to key threats. The Veteran is the most effective Elite Killer. The Veteran also has a good health pool, starting at 200 regenerating Toughness and 150 health.
The other three classes are also pretty fine. The Zealot has incredible ability to clear horde enemies and good at single target but the Ogryn’s horde clearing is the best, even if they have trouble to killing elite enemies from long range. The Psyker has stellar killing elite enemies but their massive cooldown slows them down. Brain Burst deals great damage, but in terms of utility, the Veteran is far more better.
