Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky Update Details
Embark Studios has unveiled the Shrouded Sky update, the second major step in their 2026 roadmap, in a detailed blog post. Described as one of the most comprehensive content packs of the year for Arc Raiders, this update brings a new map condition, a player-focused project system, additional ARC threats, and cosmetic rewards. The dynamic weather conditions, in particular, are poised to make a significant difference to gameplay.
What Does the Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky Update Bring?
At the heart of Shrouded Sky is a new map condition called Hurricane. This system doesn’t just offer a visual atmospheric change; it affects many elements, from visibility and movement physics to environmental hazards and overall map dynamics. Players will need to rethink their tactical approach when storm conditions are active.
In conjunction with this system, a new player project, the Weather Monitoring Station, is being introduced. Players will build this system by collecting specific materials, and upon completion, it will reward them with various prizes. While the development team hasn’t yet revealed details about the necessary materials, it appears the community-focused progression model will continue.
The update also brings two new ARC threats. The Firefly, a flying enemy, poses a serious threat in open areas with its flame-spitting attack. The Comet is a spherical machine that patrols the surface, detonating after locking onto a target and dealing area damage. These two new threats, especially when combined with the Hurricane condition, will increase the tempo of combat.
On the cosmetic side, the free Surgeon-themed Raider Deck stands out. Players can advance this deck by completing missions and unlock new costumes. Character customization options are also expanded with beard and mustache choices. The Controlled Access Zone on the Dam Battlegrounds map is a new area offering high-value loot. Shrouded Sky is positioned as a significant milestone in Arc Raiders’ 2026 plan.
