The next-gen version will offer native 4K resolution and a 60 FPS performance mode. It will also take full advantage of DualSense features, meaning players can experience the space adventure even more deeply with vibration feedback and adaptive triggers.

Astroneer, which launched into early access on Steam in 2016 and was fully released in 2019, eventually made its way to platforms like PC, Xbox, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The PS5 version of the game looks set to bring a breath of fresh air to the existing community.

The new trailer showcases Astroneer’s vibrant 4K image quality, showcasing the vibrant atmosphere of space. It appears Astroneer will remain a fixture on next-generation consoles for a long time to come.
