Bloober Team is Preparing Multiple Game Announcements for 2026
Bloober Team has established a significant presence in the gaming world in recent years with its horror projects. Particularly noteworthy for titles like the Silent Hill 2 remake and Cronos: The New Dawn, the studio now seems to be setting its sights on even bigger projects. According to company management, 2026 will be a very busy year for announcements for Bloober Team, and the studio plans to share multiple projects it has been developing for a long time with players this year.
A Busy Year of Announcements Begins for Bloober Team
According to statements made by Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno, the studio will have a “very busy year of communication” throughout 2026. During this period, many projects that have been developed behind closed doors for years will be announced gradually. The studio’s goal is to reach a wider audience in the horror genre.
The most notable of these projects is a new game currently known by the codename “Project H.” Developed by the team behind Cronos: The New Dawn, this title is said to be the studio’s most ambitious project to date. The management team claims Project H could be the game with the highest commercial potential in the company’s history.
Another mysterious project is called “Project M.” Developed by Bloober Team’s subsidiary studio Broken Mirror Games, this game is rumored to be exclusive to Nintendo platforms. Rumors suggest Project M is specifically being developed for the Nintendo Switch 2 and will draw gameplay inspiration from titles like Resident Evil, Limbo, and Eternal Darkness.
The studio also continues its collaboration with Konami. Following the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, there have been rumors for some time that Bloober Team is working on a remake of the first Silent Hill game. This project is also said to be developed by the same team.
On the other hand, Layers of Fear 3 is also among the studio’s plans. However, this project will not be entirely developed by Bloober Team. The studio plans to collaborate with an external partner on this game, allowing them to focus their own teams on larger, more technically ambitious projects.
All of these projects are expected to be showcased at Gamescom and summer gaming events throughout the year. If these plans materialize, the next few years could be quite eventful for horror game fans.
