Cole Palmer Lost His Twitch Account After Playing FC 27 Early

Cole Palmer, who displays his composure on the football pitch, seems to have failed to do so on the streaming side this time. The Chelsea star player had his Twitch account suspended shortly after opening EA Sports FC 27 on Twitch before the official broadcast time. It appears all Palmer needed to do was wait a few more hours.

Cole Palmer Banned from Twitch for FC 27 Stream

According to shared footage, Palmer started live streaming EA Sports FC 27 before the scheduled time. The official EA account, visible in the chat, apparently noticed the situation and left a message saying, “Weren’t we supposed to do this a little later? We’ll be live at 6 pm UK time.” So, Palmer only needed to wait a few hours.

The stream was stopped shortly afterward, and Twitch’s page showed that action was taken due to copyrighted material. Palmer, however, took to Instagram, saying, “I was just giving people what they wanted,” and requested that his account be reinstated. It’s unclear whether the stream was reported manually or detected by an automated system.

Another noteworthy aspect is Palmer’s Ultimate Team account. Images he shared show over 1.8 million coins and 229,000 FC Points. At normal market value, this many FC Points are worth over £1,550. It’s unclear whether these were purchased by Palmer or provided by EA.

EA offering early access to the game to content creators and professional footballers is nothing new. What’s truly funny is that Cole Palmer couldn’t wait until just a few hours before a planned stream. He might be good at managing his time on the pitch, but this time the timing wasn’t quite right.
