Even Before GTA 6 is Released, Fans are Discussing the City of GTA 7

It might be far too early to talk about GTA 7, but it’s hard to stop the GTA community. Despite GTA 6’s November 19th release, players are already discussing which city Rockstar might choose for the next game. And the suggestions aren’t limited to old GTA cities; fans have brand new locations in mind as well.

Chicago, London, and Hong Kong Stand Out for GTA 7

One of the most frequently mentioned cities in the discussions is Chicago. Many players believe Chicago is perfect for GTA due to its mafia history, dense urban structure, and atmosphere well-suited to crime stories. Some fans even find it surprising that Rockstar hasn’t used this city before.

London is also among the notable suggestions. The series last used London in 1999 in the expansion pack for the first Grand Theft Auto. Seeing a city with stricter gun laws in a modern GTA game could bring an interesting change to the series’ familiar structure. Detroit, Boston, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Baltimore are among the other options being discussed.

Those who want to go outside the US are suggesting cities like Hong Kong, Mexico, Toronto, and Paris. There’s even been a suggestion for a modern western approach combining Texas and Mexico. Hawaii has also caught players’ attention due to its island structure and different atmosphere.

Of course, these are all fan ideas. Rockstar hasn’t made any announcements about GTA 7 yet, and considering GTA 6 hasn’t even been released, it could be many years before we get news of an official sequel. Still, it’s not surprising that GTA fans are already starting to choose the next city; this community never waits silently.
