Crimson Desert Patch 1.12.01 Released
Crimson Desert continues its post-release support with a new update. Pearl Abyss has released patch 1.12.01 and shared the change notes. This update doesn’t bring major content additions or system changes. Instead, it’s a smaller maintenance patch focusing on fixing some technical issues that arose after the previous 1.12.00 release.
What Issues Does the Crimson Desert 1.12.01 Patch Fix?
The new patch addresses some problems players might encounter, particularly regarding environmental interactions and visual consistency. The update fixes a bug that caused outdoor furniture to disappear in certain situations. This issue could be frustrating for players using the camping and placement systems.
In addition, the issue that prevented players from climbing on some moving objects has been fixed. In a game like Crimson Desert, where environmental interaction is crucial, these kinds of minor bugs can directly affect the feeling of exploration and progression. Therefore, the patch is expected to make the gameplay flow smoother.
There’s also a visual fix. The bug that caused glass materials to appear unnatural due to lighting has been fixed. Furthermore, an environmental glitch that caused a section of the terrain on the Sanctum of Faith path to appear suspended in mid-air has also been corrected with this update. While these visual problems aren’t major, they can weaken the game’s atmosphere.
Finally, the issue that caused the Skunky character or item to disappear when dropped in the camp has also been resolved. On Steam, the update will automatically download the next time the client is opened. The patch size appears to be approximately 224 MB. In short, Crimson Desert 1.12.01 offers a practical patch package focused on cleaning up the existing experience rather than major new features.
