EA Sports UFC 6 Release Date Announced
EA Sports UFC 6 is back in the spotlight as the newest installment in a long-dormant series. Coming at a time when competition in the fighting game market is relatively calm, this announcement has naturally attracted the attention of players. Especially for those who have dedicated time to previous games in the series, discussions are already underway about what new features this installment will bring.
EA Sports UFC 6 Release Date and Details Revealed
EA Sports UFC 6 has been officially confirmed to be released on June 19th. For players who want early access, the Ultimate Edition option is available, allowing access to the game from June 12th. It’s safe to say that this type of early access model is becoming more common in EA games.
The cover stars are also a noteworthy choice. While Alex Pereira appears on the standard edition, Max Holloway is featured on the Ultimate Edition cover. The selection of two different fighters for two different editions demonstrates the game’s desire to create diversity in its marketing.
Looking at the platforms, it’s confirmed that EA Sports UFC 6 will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version is reportedly in development, but a release date hasn’t been given yet. This means PC players may have to wait a while longer.
The Ultimate Edition content offers a slightly longer-term support plan for the series. Players will be offered a Fighter Pass featuring eight new fighters, some of which will be accessible on launch day. Two major expansion packs are also planned for Winter 2026 and Summer 2027. All the details are expected to be clarified in a comprehensive presentation in the coming weeks.
