Edward Kenway Statue Announced, Priced at $2,999
Edward Kenway, one of Assassin’s Creed fans’ favorite characters, is now appearing in a truly massive collector’s item. The half-scale statue, created by PureArts, almost brings the character home with its realistic skin texture, clothing made from special fabrics, and a base inspired by the Jackdaw. However, the price tag for such a detailed piece will likely leave most fans only able to admire it from afar.
Details of the Edward Kenway Statue
Joining PureArts’ Prestige Line collection, the statue is approximately 109 centimeters high, 39 centimeters wide, and 35.5 centimeters deep. Its total weight is approximately 19 kilograms. Edward Kenway’s machete and flintlock pistol are included in the box, while the display base is crafted with details inspired by the character’s famous ship, the Jackdaw.
The statue’s portrait features silicone skin, glass eyes, and individually placed strands of hair. The assassin’s outfit is also recreated using fabric, leather, and metal pieces, rather than simply being molded. The result is more like a museum-quality display piece than a classic video game figure. The base also features the Assassin’s Creed 4 emblem.
Only 500 Edward Kenway statues will be produced, each with its own unique number. Collectors will also receive a certificate of authenticity bearing the same production number. This limited production and the expensive materials used partly explain the high price tag. However, the $2,999 price tag is quite steep, even for the most dedicated Assassin’s Creed fans.
The statue, which is available for pre-order, is scheduled to ship in the second quarter of 2027. PureArts has stated that the product will only be shipped after production is complete, so there may be delays in the delivery schedule. Given the renewed interest in Edward Kenway following Black Flag Resynced, the 500-unit stock could sell out quickly. Although its price has sparked some debate, the Edward Kenway statue appears to be one of the most impressive collector’s items in the series to date.
