Why Wasn’t Elder Scrolls 6 Featured at The Game Awards 2025?

The mysterious hints shared days beforehand by host Geoff Keighley had raised hopes for Elder Scrolls 6 among many players. However, the statue seen on stage turned out to be for Larian Studios’ new Divinity project. This was the first step towards disappointment for fans who had tuned in expecting to see Elder Scrolls 6.

The appearance of Bethesda’s Todd Howard on stage further heightened expectations. However, Howard was only there to present the “Best Game Direction” award.
