Platypus Reclayed Returns

First released for PC in 2002, followed by a PSP-exclusive release in 2006, Platypus has become an indie classic in the arcade-style shoot ’em up category. Now it returns to the gaming world with a completely overhauled remake for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X and PC. “Platypus Reclayed” isn’t just a remaster; it’s a completely redesigned remake, optimized for modern hardware.

The remake features 4K resolution, updated visuals and modernized game mechanics. It also aims to deliver a brand new experience while staying true to the original game with new weapons and additional content.

Anthony Flack, creator of the original game, is leading this project with the Claymatic team. Platypus Reclayed promises a nostalgic experience for retro-loving gamers and a fast and fun shoot ’em up experience for the new generation of gamers. No release date has been announced at this time.
