It is Alleged that 1 Million Euros were Spent on the Sabotage of Mindseye

While such serious allegations are rarely made in the gaming world, statements from Mindseye have suddenly drawn attention to the project. Allegations made during an internal studio meeting suggest a systematic sabotage campaign against the game. Although no official legal proceedings have yet begun, the shared statements have significantly heightened the controversy. This situation surrounding Mindseye seems likely to have a wide impact on the industry.

How Did the Mindseye Sabotage Allegations Emerge?

Mark Gerhard, co-CEO of Build a Rocket Boy, the developer of Mindseye, made very serious allegations during an internal company meeting. Gerhard claimed that a large American company was behind an organized smear and sabotage campaign against Mindseye, allegedly conducted throughout 2025. He alleged that a budget exceeding 1 million euros was spent on this campaign, and that the process has now been identified.

According to Gerhard’s allegations, this campaign was orchestrated through a UK-based organization, and some influencers, journalists, and even individuals within the company were involved. The harsh language used in the meeting was noteworthy, and it was explicitly stated that legal action would be taken against those involved. These allegations have not yet been independently verified.

Meanwhile, Ritual Network, one of the companies mentioned, categorically denied the accusations. In a statement, they said they had no connection to the allegations and that no evidence had been presented to support them. Build a Rocket Boy, while avoiding direct comment on the leaked meeting recordings, stated that they possessed evidence of a deliberate attempt to discredit Mindseye.

The controversy didn’t end there. It was also confirmed that additional security software was installed on the computers of studio employees during the same meeting. This step was taken to counter potential insider threats, and it was acknowledged that the communication process was poorly managed. All these developments indicate that Mindseye’s launch process is proceeding under a highly tense atmosphere. At this stage, everyone is eagerly awaiting to see how the allegations will unfold from a legal standpoint.
