[Leak] Resident Evil 9 is on the way
AestheticGamer (aka Dusk Golem) recently revealed that Resident Evil 9 development is still onging and looks like fans won’t have to wait longer for to see the game.
New Resident Evil 9 News
After the launch of Resident Evil 7, Capcom started to create a brand new Resident Evil franchise. The new Resident Evil franchise was horror, first person games evolving around Winters family. Some said that Resident Evil 9 will be the end of Winters saga. Aside from these words, recently, we got a lot of Resident Evil 9 leaks. First one indicated that Resident Evil 9 is far away than we thought, meanwhile, recent leaks changed something.
Resident Evil leaker AestheticGamer (aka Dusk Golem) recently claimed that Resident Evil 9 was facing internal delays. However, they have since recanted that report. The insider now states that the reveal for Resident Evil 9 should take place “pretty soon,” with a targeted release window of early 2025, with January being Capcom’s internal target.
The leaker claimed that Resident Evil 9 started development in early 2018 “as a possible RE8,” and that Resident Evil Village also went into development with the same purpose around that time. Village then transitioned to a spin off game, before pivoting back to being the eighth entry in the series. AestheticGamer alleged that because of this back and forth, Resident Evil 9 and Resident Evil Village were being worked on simultaneously.
Fans have a lot of expectation about Resident Evil 9, meanwhile upcoming events like Xbox Games Showcase, Summer Game Fest, and the rumored PlayStation Showcase might bring the anticipated announce.
