Monster Hunter Wilds was announced during The Game Awards 2023 following years of development, as art director Kaname Fujioka revealed Capcom spent time working on new features and quality-of-life improvements following the success of Monster Hunter World. This new installment in the series is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in February 2025, making it the first game in the franchise to release simultaneously on these platforms.
Following the announcement of Monster Hunter Wilds’ release date during the latest PlayStation Showcase, Capcom revealed the PC system requirements for its upcoming action RPG.

On top of announcing its official release date during the PlayStation Showcase, Monster Hunter Wilds revealed its pre order bonuses. Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition of Capcom’s upcoming game before launch can collect a variety of cosmetic elements, such as the Guild Knight Layered Armor Set, the Hope Charm Talisman, and layered armor for the Palico, as well as new gestures and hairstyles. The Premium Deluxe Edition comes with everything included in the Deluxe Edition, and adds extra music tracks, additional pieces of cosmetics, and more profile customization choices.
