MSI Unveils New AMD X870E and B850 Motherboards
MSI has introduced four new motherboard models that will excite technology enthusiasts. These models, which use AMD’s AM5 socket, are based on the X870E and B850 chipsets. The new motherboards are called MPG X870E EDGE TI WIFI, MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI, MPG B850 EDGE TI WIFI and MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI. Each of them stands out with its high performance, advanced connectivity options and effective cooling system.
Technical Features of MSI’s New Motherboards
The new MSI motherboards offer a 14+2+1 phase Duet Rail power delivery system and 80A SPS support. In addition, these motherboards are equipped with large VRM coolers, heat pipes and 7W/mk thermal pads, providing stable performance even under high temperatures.
On the memory side, four DDR5 slots offer support for up to 256GB of 8400+ MHz RAM. Storage options include PCI Express 5.0 and 4.0 compatible M.2 slots, as well as four SATA 3.0 ports. Expansion slots include PCI Express 5.0 x16, PCI Express 4.0 x4, and PCI Express 3.0 x1/x16 connections. This offers flexible use for graphics cards and other peripherals.
The new motherboards also differ in terms of design. While the MPG EDGE TI WIFI models come in white and black color themes, the MAG TOMAHAWK series has a simple design, mostly black. There is no LED lighting in the TOMAHAWK models.
