Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC Release Date Announced

Team Ninja has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated expansion pack for Ninja Gaiden 4. Following the main game’s release in October 2025, players have been eagerly awaiting news of new content. Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC is set to increase the action in the series.

What Does Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC Bring?

The Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC will be released on March 4, 2026. The expansion pack adds three new story chapters, new enemies, new weapons, and a stamina-focused mode called Abyssal Road.

The new story chapters continue Yakumo and Ryu’s fight against demonic entities. More deadly boss battles, new challenges, and aggressive enemy types await players. On the weapon side, Yakumo gets the “Solitaire” scythe, effective for crowd control, while Ryu gets the “Jakotsumon” snake gloves, offering quick attacks at close range.

The Abyssal Road mode presents a test of endurance consisting of 100 different combat encounters. Featuring enemies from both the main game and the DLC, this mode dynamically changes combat conditions with new mechanics like Special Blood Essence and Frenzied, making each challenge more unpredictable and difficult.

The Two Masters DLC also includes balance adjustments, bug fixes, and quality updates that improve combat responsiveness. Deluxe Edition owners will have free access to this content, while other players can purchase it separately. Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC aims to take the series’ challenging and fast-paced nature a step further.
