One Player Played Elden Ring with Mind Power
With the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, a lot of content is being produced. One of them is publisher Perrikaryal. The streamer killed the second boss of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree with mind power.
Elden Ring Played with Mind Power
Twitch streamer Perrikaryal has already played Elden Ring with his mind, and now he’s tackling Shadow of the Erdtree. Perrikaryal uses bluetooth, a portable EEG reader and an eye tracker to analyze brain activity patterns, converting his movements into inputs. He then thinks about specific actions in the game that trigger shots, attacks and the like. This allowed the publisher to complete Elden Ring without using a traditional controller. Finally, in the DLC released last Friday, he defeated the second big boss.
Other publishers are trying to advance in games in similar or different ways. GoodGameEthan, for example, started the same endeavor five months ago. But when it was time to escape, he turned to the controller. So Perrikaryal’s achievement is really quite impressive. Who knows, maybe the future of gaming will even focus on a similar structure.
