PlayStation 5 Players Downloaded These Games the Most in July
The most downloaded games for PlayStation 5 in July 2026 have been revealed. According to the list shared by Sony, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Black Ops took the top two spots in both the US/Canada and Europe. There are significant differences in the rankings across regions. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, EA Sports FC 26, and Palworld performed particularly strongly in Europe.

The most striking aspect of the list is that Call of Duty games occupy the top two spots in both regions. Immediately behind this, however, are different player habits. In the US and Canada, EA Sports College Football 27 climbed to third place, while in Europe, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced held the same spot.
Halo: Campaign Evolved also had a strong start, ranking 6th in the US/Canada and 7th in Europe. Palworld, NBA 2K26, and Minecraft also found a place in the top 10 in both regions. It’s also noteworthy that older games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Resident Evil 4 are still high on the European list.
At the bottom of the list are titles like Battlefield 6, Forza Horizon 5, Gran Turismo 7, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The PlayStation 5 July 2026 chart shows the strong performance of new releases while also revealing that some games that have been on the market for years are still being downloaded significantly.
