Ubisoft reintroduced Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake at the Ubisoft Forward 2024 event and revealed that the game will release in 2026.

One of the most notable changes for Prince of Persia fans is that Yuri Lowenthal, who voiced the Prince in the original game, will not be reprising the role. Ubisoft confirmed earlier this month that Ubisoft Toronto will also be involved in the game’s development.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time takes players on another fantastic adventure. The story follows a young prince’s struggle to reclaim the dangerous Sands of Time, which he accidentally unleashed. These magical sands have the power to alter the flow of time, and the prince uses the Dagger of Time to control this power. Players use the prince’s acrobatic feats and fighting skills to make their way through the palace and its environs, while using his ability to rewind time to defeat his enemies.
