In this guide, we will play RE4 Remake from the beginning to the end and reach the solution. This is the fourth part of Resident Evil 4 Remake Chapter 4 Walkthrough. We basically proceed with the solution in the original game.

Transfer the contents of Ashley’s Inventory to Leon. Open the door close to Lois and go down the stairs at the end of the corridor to the merchant and open the door. Cross the bridge and go through the door at the end of the corridor. You’ll see Ganados in the cage, clear them out.
Follow the corridor in the lower right corner of the room towards the passage. Take the bullets from the shelf under the bell. Go back to the room with the cage and go into the dining room. Two Ganados will appear at the end of the room, get rid of them. Go down the narrow corridor and open the door. Open the door in the corner of the room, then the door on the right, then the door further ahead and keep going.
Round the corner to the fountain next to the door. Try to open the door, then head to the left and get Ashley to open the door. Once the door is open, open all the chests to get the money, the red herb, the broken butterfly and the perfume bottle.
Exit the room and go around the right corner and open the double door at the end of the path. Go down the stairs and enter the door at the end of the road. Go back to the castle through the door next to the typewriter.
Follow the corridor through the door and go back to the cage room. Open the door in the corner and cross the bridge. Go through the door and up the stairs to the merchant, where the chapter begins. Turn left, go down the corridor and go through the big door at the end. On the shelf on the right you can find bullets.
Also don’t forget to break the bowls next to the typewriter. Climb onto the platform next to the typewriter, wait to get to the other side and open the door there.
Arm yourself with your rifle and go to the top of the stairs. A Ganado will appear behind the dragon statue, shoot him. You will see a rotating cage, jump into it. When you reach the other side, jump down the path and dodge the fire by hiding in the last, right-hand wall. Turn round a bit and take out the Ganados on the path.

After getting rid of all the Ganados, go up the stairs and get the lion figure from the chest. Go back up the stairs and get the pendant from the chest on the left side of the path. Jump back up the stairs to the cage and open the door at the top of the stairs. Head back to the platform and return to Ashley’s side. When you reach the bottom of the stairs, get in the car. Open the door and leave the room.
On the left you’ll see a decoration, place the lion, goat and snake figures on it to reveal the new path. Go up the stairs on the right side. Break the bowls above to get the grenade. Continue down the corridor and you’ll see a purple ore on the wall, shoot it.
Follow the path round a bit and open the door at the end. Jump over the railing to get the spinel and objects from the bowls. Jump in the car to go down the road and collect the blue velvet and bullets from the bowls. Then go through the door and keep going.
Turn right and follow the corridor to the end and pick up the yellow weed and Sample Retrieved from the table. Grab the bombs from the cupboard and go through the double door. Grab the bullets from the lion statue and continue down the corridor; you’ll be attacked by two Armaduras on the way.
Head right from the next lion statue and enter the round room. Take the bullets and the green herb from the corner of the room. Take the king’s bowl from the table. After a short while the Armaduras will attack. Fight them by running away and try to get rid of them by using your bombs.
When the parasite appears, shoot it to get rid of it. After you get rid of the first group, a second group will come, get rid of them in the same way. Then go through the door and leave this place.
Leave the room and go back to the corridor and open the double doors. When you pass through the yellow door, you will come to the room with 4 yellow platforms. Push the statues on 2 platforms. Then tell Ashley to wait on the third platform and you should get on the fourth platform.
Go through the new corridor and meet Salazar; he will start lowering the ceiling. Shoot all 4 objects on the ceiling to prevent its fall. Take the bullet from the corner and leave the room.
When you go down the corridor, the door will close behind you, trapping Ashley in the room; there is also a vehicle in the room. Grab your rifle and take out the Ganados in the vehicle. When Ashley enters the room, take the bullet from the chair, the spinel and bullets from the boxes, the money from the barrels and the chessboard from the cupboard. Open the chest and you’ll find the queen’s chalice.
Kick open the door on the right side. Enter the room with 4 platforms and use the door in the corner to enter the corridor. Take the flash from the chair on the left side. Continue along the corridor and take down all the Ganados at the end of the room.

Collect the spinels, green ore and blue velvet by shooting the glowing objects on the 4 statues. Use the queen’s bowl by looking at the statue next to the door at the end of the room (on the left). Go through the green door into the next corridor.
Break the bowls on the left to get the money and the blue velvet on the right. There is a fly in the left bowl on the right side, do not open it. Go down the corridor and get the coins from the cupboards. Jump through the window and get the red herb from the right side. Go up the stairs and go round the path to get the butterfly lamp from the last chest.
Go to the nearby window and shoot at the large beehive until you drop it. Jump down and grab Ashley. Head into the centre room and take down the Navistador. Use the lever in the corner of the room and shoot the chains holding the bridge to lower it. When you cross the bridge, you’ll see a door just around the corner, go through it.
Open the key and treasure section of your Inventory and combine the red, green and blue eyes with the butterfly lamp. Then combine the green, purple and red ores with the mask. Talk to the merchant to buy all the spinels, blue velvet, the butterfly lamp, the mask, the gold bracelet, the statuette, the chessboard and the perfume bottle.
Don’t forget to upgrade your Red9, the broken butterfly and your rifle. After getting the bullets from the chair, go through the corridor and through the door at the end.
Break the barrels on the left side to get the blue velvet. Go down the slope and you’ll receive a message from Salazar. On the other side of the bridge, turn left and get rid of the enemy using the catapult in the corner. Head up the stairs and take out all the Ganados. Turn right and go around the corner to collect the bullets. Go around the next corner to open the door on the left and enter the clock tower.
Look up and shoot the yellow object blocking the clock’s cogs. You will see a ladder on the right side, use it to go up. You can get bullets from the crates on the right. Go back to the ladder and shoot the other yellow block above. Go up the ladder and continue up the steps on the right side.

Take the Ritual Preparation file and the green herb from the table. You will see a lever, go to it and shoot the yellow block at the top. When you use the lever, the cogs of the clock will start moving. Go back down the stairs and get rid of the Ganados. Jump down the next set of stairs and stay where you are to avoid the dynamite Ganado will throw.
Go down the steps and take out the Ganado behind the box. Turn left and kill all the Ganados and then grab the grenades from the crates. Head to the other side of the floor and smash the crates there as well. You’ll see double doors ahead, go through them.
Grab your rifle and take out the 3 Ganados on the bridge. When you start crossing the bridge, you will be attacked by the Ganado group. Make your way to the end of the other bridge and kill all the Ganados there as well. If they get too close, you can use your double. After you get rid of all the enemies, head to the other side of the bridge and enter the castle.
After taking down 2 Ganados, move to the corner and avoid the El Garradors. Pick up your Sniper… You need to shoot the parasite on the back 3 times. You will also see a bell in the corner of the room. As in previous El Garrador battles, it is better to use the bell. Otherwise you will take a lot of unnecessary damage.
After shooting the parasites, collect the money from the corner and the objects dropped by El Garrador. Go up the steps and pick up the bombs from the bowls. You will see a corridor on the left side, go up the steps and go through the door.
Pick up the spinels from the statue near the corridor at the bottom. You will see blue steps, use them to go up and open the door. Immediately after the demo, press the right buttons to make sure Leon lands safely on the ground. Collect the blue velvet, yellow grass and bullets.
Grab the bomb from the typewriter and head to the staircase on the right to get the crown from the corpse. Talk to the merchant to buy the spinel and blue velvet. Sell your rifle and buy the Striker. Also upgrade him and leave here.
Go up the stairs and follow the path. You can get blue velvet from the first pipe on the left. Take the red herb on the right and keep going. After a short while you will see a demo. Take the other blue velvet from the left side and open the door at the end of the path. Keep going down the path. Just after passing the red warehouse, enemies will descend from the ceiling, avoid them.
When you reach the entrance, pull the lever in the upper right corner to unlock the power. Go to the room in the corner to get the green herb and approach the entrance. Enemies will come when you try to open the shutters, avoid them.
Move to the corner of the room and push the red tank to freeze the enemies. If you still have the rocket launcher, there is no better time to destroy all enemies with one shot. If you don’t have a rocket launcher, use your Striker to kill the enemies before they thaw. After getting the bullets from the panel, go around the room and fend off enemies until the shutters open. Once the area is clear, leave.
Wait for the enemy to get close and use the red tank on the right to freeze the enemy. In the same way, use your Striker to destroy the enemy. Head down the first path on the right and open the door at the end. Use the warehouse here to freeze the enemy and get rid of them.
Leave the room and enter the lift room at the end of the corridor on the left. Push the barrels to get rid of the last batch of enemies. Pick up the bullets and the first aid spray from the table. Finish the level by using the panel inside the lift.
Exit the lift and take the green herb at the top of the steps in the corner. Go down the steps and smash the barrels on the right side of the merchant to collect everything. We won’t be visiting the merchant at the moment. Take Luis’ second diary from the bag next to the typewriter.
After getting the bullets from the table, go into the blue room and practice a bit. Go to the typewriter, save the game and leave the merchant through the blue double doors.
Go down the tunnel to the large area and pick up the blue velvet from the first bin on the right. Break the barrels to get bullets and coins. Then go down the tunnel to the mine. Here you will encounter many Ganados. When they spot you, stand at the top of the stairs and shoot them as they climb towards you.
Jump down the stairs and equip your rifle. You will see 2 Ganados near the mine, get rid of them. After the mine is completely cleared of enemies, run to the right corner of the cage. Keep moving forward and you will see a lever, use it to move the cart. Go back and up the stairs, first turn to the left side and check the area behind the boxes.
After collecting the bullets, take the money from the boxes next to the stairs. Go up the stairs and follow the path to the switch at the top. Switch it on to energise it; you can also find money behind the switch. Go back to the lever on the other side that controls the cart and use it.
Pull the lever and the Ganados will start coming, dodge them by taking cover in the cage. Go back to the lever and use the dynamite on the big stone just to the right of the lever. The dynamite will open up a new path for you, so go through the door and pick up the bullets from the side of the door and go through the door.
Pick up the bullets, first aid spray and flash grenade from the corner of the room. Then proceed towards the blue double doors. Before you pass through the door, 2 El Gigante will block your way. Climb the stairs in the bottom right corner by running. At the top, turn left and go down to where the button is located.
Use the switch to wait for one of the El Gigantes to get on the platform in the centre of the room and activate it, which will set it on fire. If you miss, you can try again for a short while. Once you get rid of one of the giants, you have to kill the other one in the normal way; you will get rid of it by destroying the parasite.
After you get what’s left of the giant, go through the door and take the objects from the barrels on the left. Go through the next room.
When you go down the tunnel and enter the cave, you will see that it is full of Novistadors. Turn to the right and start shooting at the first party with your Striker. Grab the green herb from the corner of the room and head up the path; you’ll encounter Novistadors along the way, so get rid of them.
Turn right at the intersection and go down to the small cave on the left. Take the green herb from the corner. You will see a button here, press it. Novistadors will start filling the cave, wait a bit and then start attacking them with your rifle. Exit this small cave and pick up the bullets on the right, near the path leading upwards.
Go up the sloping path and take the red herb to the left of the door with the symbol on it.
Cross the bridge and start shooting at the Novistador group coming out of the small cave on the other side. Make sure to pick up the bullets on the right side of the cave entrance. When you enter the cave, you will find green grass on the left side. Press the button to open the door and enter the main cave.
Take down the Novistador group inside. Leave the cave, cross the bridge and press the button on the other side, above the passage. When you go down the tunnel, you will see a lever on the left side, just after the falling rocks, pull it. Dodge the second falling block and head down the tunnel to the room at the end. Take the royal insignia on the plaque and control the plaque to finish the level.
Go to the arch and break the barrels to get the green grass and bullets. Outside the merchant’s hut, get the letter from Ada. Open the key section of your Inventory and combine the green, red and blue eyes with the butterfly lamp.
Combine the crown jewels with the royal crown and then add the royal insignia to it. After combining, talk to the merchant and sell the spinels, blue velvets, green and red eyes, butterfly lamp and the crown of the Salazar family. Don’t forget to upgrade the Red9, the broken butterfly, the Striker and your semi-automatic rifle; you’ll have to pay extra money, just be aware. Once you have everything, leave the merchant.
Start going down the path at the corner of the wall. Keep going down and enter the ruins. On the right side, you’ll see a Ganado in the corner, get rid of him and then the Ganado just ahead. Take the money from the table and barrels in the left corner.
Leave the ruined area and go up the stairs to the left and you will see a group of Ganado gathered around a fire. Wave a grenade towards the group and immediately pick up your red9 to take down the remaining Ganados.
Collect the remaining objects from the Ganados. You can get money from the ruined area behind the table. You can also get money from the barrels by climbing up the nearby stairs. When you jump down from the platform, you will see a gap between the buildings behind the fire, head towards it.
Enter the building through the window and take the money from the crates. On the other side of the building you will see a lever, use it to open the warehouse and go down the stairs.
Go down the tunnel and get the blue velvet from the boxes on the left side. Turn right from the left side of the tunnel and go to the corner of the room. Equip your rifle and take out the 2 Ganados in the room. When a Ganado with a chainsaw suddenly appears, shoot him until the sound of the chainsaw stops. Make your way down the stairs and pick up the blue velvet at the end of the path and return to the top of the stairs.
Head right to the other side of the room and go down the steps. On the right side, pick up the blue velvet from the blocks. Head to the nearby gap and go down the steps. Get rid of the Ganado in the room and open the sarcophagus for the royal items. Go back to the top of the stairs and get rid of the bear trap.
Go up the stairs and get the key to the mine from the table in the centre of the room. Face the stairs and shoot the climbing Ganados. After you get rid of all the Ganados, get the yellow herb from the barrel. Go down the stairs and get the grenade from the safe and the money from the barrels. Go through the door and up the steps at the back of the room.
At the top, take the red herb from the left side and use the key to open the door on the left side.
Go down the tunnel and smash the crates on the left side. After opening the room at the end of the tunnel you will face the enemy, get rid of the parasites. You will see a box on the right side of the room, open it to get the money. Go through the door, down the steps and get the blue velvet and money from the barrels.
Open the doors and get the money and bullets from the barrels on the right side. You will also find green grass next to the platform. Climb onto the platform and jump down to the mine cart below.
Get on the vehicle in the middle and move the vehicle by hitting the lever on the left. When you start moving, get in the back of the vehicle, grab your rifle and shoot the Ganados falling from the platforms. In the next tunnel you can either shoot them or run away from them; it’s better to run away to save bullets.
After a short while, one of the Ganados will pull the lever and stop the vehicle, and your vehicle will stop in the middle of a bunch of Ganados. After you get rid of them all, jump to the front of the vehicle, get the bullets from the left side and shoot the lever and keep moving forward.
Get back in the back of the vehicle, equip your rifle and start shooting the Ganados falling from the platforms. After escaping from the board, the second group will start to arrive, get rid of them as well. After a short while you will come to the spiral part of the road.
When you reach the end of the path, press the button shown to you to jump out of the pit and keep pressing to get to the platform. Go down the tunnel, open the door and get the Sacrifice stone. Continue down the new tunnel and you will come across a staircase that will take you to the surface of the earth, use it to climb up.
Check the door in the upper right corner and use the stone you just got there. When you enter the lift and use the panel you will complete the level.
