Resident Evil 4 Remake demo coming soon
At PlayStation’s State of Play digital event, Capcom revealed new details about the upcoming release of Resident Evil 4 and released a trailer. The announcement also revealed the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo. Not all announcements were limited to this, of course. It was also announced that “The Mercenaries” mode will be coming as free DLC after launch.
Resident Evil 4 Remake demo announced
During their harrowing escape from a small European village under the thrall of Las Plagas, Leon and his bodyguard Ashley Graham must navigate multiple environments controlled by the Los Iluminados cult. In a vast castle, ruined mines and more, they encounter even more infected villagers, deranged and insidious enemies, empowered by the Las Plagas parasite. Leon and Ashley must solve puzzles, hidden mechanisms and puzzles while battling these enemies. Their path to safety also crosses paths with special forces agent Major Jack Krauser.
Special agents looking to take on even more challenges in Resident Evil 4 will see the return of the prolific “The Mercenaries” challenge mode as free post-launch DLC. More information about the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo and the release timing of “The Mercenaries” DLC will be announced at a later date.
In addition to the Standard Edition of Resident Evil 4, a Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-order. The Deluxe Edition includes additional in-game content, including costumes, weapons, a treasure map and more. Those who pre-ordered the Standard Edition will receive the “Attaché Case: Gold” and “Special Charm: Handgun Ammo,” while Deluxe Edition pre-orders receive in-game rewards such as “Attaché Case: Classic” and “Special Charm: Green Herb” items. These customization items will offer specific in-game abilities when worn.
Resident Evil 4 will be released on March 24, 2023 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam for an MSRP of $59.99.
