Sadie Sink is keeping a big secret for Spider-Man Brand New Day

Having relaxed after the final season of Stranger Things aired on Netflix, Sadie Sink is now facing an even tighter wall of secrecy on the Marvel side. The young actress says she can’t share any details about the new Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, or even reveal the character she plays. According to Sink, keeping Marvel secrets is one of the most difficult experiences she’s ever had.

Spider-Man Brand New Day Secrets Challenge Sadie Sink

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Sadie Sink described her experience on the set of Spider-Man Brand New Day as an “incredible experience,” but admitted that not being able to talk about the project was extremely difficult for her. Sink emphasized that she’s used to the details that remained secret for years in Stranger Things, but the secrecy in the Marvel universe is much more intense. According to her, the biggest reason for this is that she’s simultaneously holding secrets about multiple major projects.

Sink, who will be appearing in the film alongside actors like Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jon Bernthal, also stated that Spider-Man has always been her favorite superhero. She particularly admired Peter Parker, portrayed by Tom Holland, and said that being part of a universe she loves meant “literally a cycle closing” for her.

Sadie Sink said she learned she was joining the cast of Spider-Man Brand New Day while filming the final season of Stranger Things, and that the moment was quite surreal for her. While she’s used to keeping secrets at Marvel, she said she’s eagerly awaiting the release of the film, adding, “There’s so much I want to share,” further fueling fan curiosity.
