Capcom’s mysterious sci-fi game Pragmata has been quiet for a long time. However, a new development suggests the game may be coming sooner than expected. According to Gematsu, Pragmata has been rated “Ages 12 and up” by the South Korean ratings board. This could mean that the game’s release preparations are in the final stages.
Could Pragmata Appear Before 2026?
Capcom’s new action-adventure project was first announced in 2020, but development has been delayed numerous times. Originally scheduled for a 2022 release, the game was most recently pushed back to 2026. Now, its appearance on the ratings page suggests that Capcom is finally nearing completion.
Pragmata is classified as a game with mild violence. This suggests the game will offer a visually intense but not overly harsh atmosphere. Pragmata, which draws attention with its space-themed story, has also been speculated to offer a mix of Vanquish and Death Stranding.
According to Eurogamer’s preview, the game, with its puzzle-based structure and atmospheric world, is poised to be one of Capcom’s most intriguing projects. The latest gameplay demo notes that the game has become “more challenging and thought-provoking,” and the full version is generating considerable anticipation.
Capcom has yet to announce an official release date. However, the South Korean rating is typically issued a few months before a game’s release, increasing the likelihood that Pragmata will be released earlier than planned.
