Hooded Horse is excited to announce that Terra Invicta, the epic sci-fi grand strategy game about dealing with an extraterrestrial invasion of the solar system, is coming to PC Game Pass via the Game Preview program on March 26, 2024.
Terra Invicta Will Arrive PC Game Pass Next Week
From Pavonis Interactive, the creators of the famous Long War mods, Terra Invicta puts players in the middle of an alien invasion that has fractured humanity into seven ideological factions, each with a unique vision for the future. Players must lead their chosen faction to take control of Earth’s nations, expand across the solar system, and battle enemy fleets in high-stakes tactical combat.
Each of the seven factions comes with its own unique end goal and playstyle:
- The Resistance works to form an alliance of nations to mount a coordinated defense.
- Humanity First vows to exterminate the aliens alongside any who sympathize with them.
- The Servants worship the aliens and believe they will solve all the troubles of the world.
- The Protectorate advocates negotiated surrender as the only means to avoid annihilation.
- The Academy hopes the alien arrival heralds the opportunity to form an interstellar alliance.
- The Initiative seeks to profit from the chaos and destruction.
- Project Exodus plans to build a massive starship and flee the Solar System.
Terra Invicta has received several updates as it works through its early access run, and the team at Pavonis Interactive is making great progress toward a 1.0 release. It joins Against the Storm and (eventually) Manor Lords as Hooded Horse expands its Games Pass offering.
The game is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese.
Terra Invicta is available in early access for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥4,980. It will be available on the Microsoft Store, as well as PC Game Pass via game preview on March 26, 2024.
