Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves have released the cinematic trailer and gameplay video for their new action RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker. Developed with Unreal Engine 5, the game takes place in 14th century Europe, in a world trying to survive under the shadow of plague and bloody wars. Players will control Coen, a character torn between human and vampire, and will have to save his family or choose the path of revenge. With its time-limited mission structure, this production, where each gameplay will be different, aims to bring an innovative breath to the dark fantasy genre.
The Blood of Dawnwalker: Story and Gameplay
The Blood of Dawnwalker takes players to a dark world where history and mythology are blended. The story begins in Vale Sangora in the Carpathian Mountains. Vampires aim to gain their freedom by rebelling against the feudal lords. Players play a character named Coen, a “Dawnwalker” with both human and vampire characteristics. Coen has 30 days and nights; during this period, he can save his family or choose the path of revenge by embracing the power of the vampires.
The game draws attention with its open-world structure. The producers, who removed the boundaries between main and side missions between missions, state that every decision will affect the passage of time and that it is not possible to complete all the stories.
