The release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded has been announced

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which has been striving to maintain a high player count since its release, is now halfway through its first season. Activision has announced that the Season 1 Reloaded update will be released on Thursday, January 8th. Following Season 1, which began in early December, this update aims to refresh the game’s pace. The information released suggests that the multiplayer aspect will be particularly highlighted.

What Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded Brings

Season 1 Reloaded will introduce Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 players to new operators, modes, and maps. To celebrate the first Reloaded update of the year, Activision also shared a teaser focusing on multiplayer maps. A total of three maps are being added to the game in this update, each aiming to offer a different experience.

The first of the newly added maps is Yakei. A small-scale 6v6 and 2v2 map, Yakei is set against the backdrop of Japan’s neon-lit cityscape. With a focus on vertical gameplay, the map is designed for fast-paced combat amidst narrow passageways, ventilation shafts, and industrial structures.

Another map returning with Season 1 Reloaded is Meltdown. First appearing in Black Ops 2, this map is known for its nuclear power plant theme and classic three-lane structure. Offering balanced combat thanks to its medium scale, Meltdown promises a familiar experience for players seeking nostalgia.

The update’s third map, Fringe, returns from Black Ops 6. Known for its 6v6 format, Fringe offers open areas and long line-of-sight capabilities, allowing for diverse play styles. With all this content, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded aims for a more dynamic start to the second half of the season.
