The Witcher 4 Team Reaches 499 Developers

The Witcher 4 is rapidly becoming one of CD Projekt Red’s biggest projects. The company’s latest financial data clearly shows that this claim isn’t just talk. The Witcher 4 Development Team is Growing

According to data released by CD Projekt Red, as of February 28, 2026, the Witcher 4 team has reached 499 people. This number represents a very large team for a single project. Furthermore, the increase in the total number of developers across the company from 707 to 993 shows that the studio is in a growth phase overall.

A large portion of this increase is directly directed towards The Witcher 4 project. Company management states that the new hires are aimed at both improving quality and making the development process more efficient. In other words, the goal is not just to increase numbers, but also to strengthen production capacity.

The shared data also included remarkable information about the overall success of the series. It was revealed that The Witcher trilogy has reached a total of 85 million sales, with 60 million of those coming from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
