Zelda Fan Breaks Record with $100,000 Collection

Zelda, more than just a video game series, has become central to collecting culture over the years. One of the most striking examples of this passion is the world record regained by Norwegian collector Anne Martha Harnes.

Zelda Collection Reaches 4,000 Pieces

Anne Martha Harnes, known for her collection dedicated to The Legend of Zelda series, has reclaimed the Guinness World Record by collecting over 4,000 items in total. Harnes, who previously held the record in 2016, lost her title in 2025 but managed to return by quickly expanding her collection.

Harnes’ collection is remarkable not only for its sheer size but also for the rarity of its pieces. One of the most special items in the collection is a fishbone guitar called “Zoraxe,” a Majora’s Mask themed object of which only a few exist in the world. Such pieces significantly increase the value of the collection.

This collection, worth over $100,000 in total, was largely built up over the years through Harnes’ own efforts. The collector says his interest in the series has never waned and he is still searching for the “holy grail” pieces he’s looking for.

Despite his record-breaking achievement, Harnes isn’t stopping. On the contrary, he continues his search to expand his collection even further. This shows that the devotion to the Zelda universe isn’t limited to the games; it can transform into a lifelong passion.
