A Bikini Bug in EA FC 27 Surprised Players

EA FC 27 is making headlines this time with a very different kind of bug, while no major gameplay changes were expected. Some players noticed that female soccer players appeared in the locker room or during matches wearing what looked like underwear instead of their uniforms. Initial images were shared on Reddit, and the fact that the same bug appeared for multiple users suggests it might be more than just a one-off visual glitch.

EA FC 27 Bikini Bug Appears at Different Times

One of the first noticeable examples was recorded just before an Ultimate Team match. In a short scene showing the locker room, while the other players on the team appeared in their uniforms, one of the female soccer players appeared on screen wearing a different type of clothing. The image quickly went viral within the community.

A similar error was observed this time on the pitch. In a video shared by another player, one of the female footballers is seen celebrating a goal with her teammates without wearing her normal jersey. Subsequently, other users shared similar examples, indicating that the error in EA FC 27 can be repeated in different gameplay scenes.

Currently, the exact cause of the problem is unknown. Possible causes include the character model failing to correctly load its clothing file, conflicts with certain cosmetics, or the wrong model being called during animation. However, the shared examples don’t clearly show a similar issue occurring with male soccer players.

EA has not yet made an official statement on the matter. However, these types of visual glitches are usually fixed with minor updates or hotfix packages. It seems highly likely that this strange bikini glitch encountered by EA FC 27 players will be fixed in an upcoming update.
