Avengers: Secret Wars Could Bring Back the Long-Awaited Hero
Avengers: Secret Wars is poised to be one of Marvel’s largest productions to date, and rumors of surprise returns continue to surface. The latest claim suggests that a character we haven’t seen in the MCU since 2022 may return for the grand finale. While there’s no official statement from Marvel yet, some previously leaked concept art supports this possibility.
Avengers: Secret Wars Could Bring She-Hulk Back to the MCU
According to the new rumor, Tatiana Maslany will return as She-Hulk in Avengers: Secret Wars. The character was last seen in the series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and there were rumors of her appearing in productions like Deadpool & Wolverine and Captain America: Brave New World. However, none of these rumors materialized.
Previously leaked Secret Wars concept art showed Hulk, She-Hulk, and Skaar together in Greenland, a region connected to the Hulk characters in the comics. The Russo brothers previously stated that there was no guarantee these concepts would actually be used in the final film.
Maslany also expressed her openness to returning to the character in recent months. The actress stated that she loves She-Hulk and would be willing to reprise her role if a suitable storyline were created. Given the lack of any activity regarding a second season of the Disney+ series, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jennifer Walters’ future continued directly on the big screen.
However, She-Hulk’s inclusion in the Avengers: Secret Wars cast has not yet been confirmed by Marvel Studios. The film is expected to feature many big names, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Benedict Cumberbatch, and the Fantastic Four. Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
