Call of Duty Actor Kamar de los Reyes Has Died
Kamar de los Reyes, an actor known for his work on the Call of Duty franchise, has died at the age of 56.

The Puerto Rican actor was born in San Juan in 1967, and started his career back in the 80s, starring in dozens of movies and a few TV shows. His first job in the gaming industry was in 2012’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 as Raul Menendez, one of the most brutal villains in Call of Duty history.
De los Reyes then reprised his role as the same character in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in 2018, and after that in Call of Duty: Mobile and Call of Duty: Vanguard. Outside the gaming industry, he was mostly known for his work in One Life to Live and Sleepy Hollow.
According to a family spokesperson, Kamar de los Reyes died from cancer on Christmas Eve. He leaves his wife, Sherri Saum, as well as three sons, the twins Michael Luis and Jobhn Rubé, and Caylen. There are reports that the Call of Duty actor will play a role in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series, which is still in development by Marvel Studios, and is set to be out in 2024. He has also shot scenes for the upcoming Washington Black, which will be out on Hulu sometime in the future.

Kamar de los Reyes has worked on some of the best Call of Duty games. His presence will be missed always, as well as in TV and cinema world too. The last appearance of Kamar de los Reyes was in Call of Duty: Vanguard. While his character was not a part of the main story, Raul Menendez was featured as an operator in Call of Duty: Vanguard, belonging to the Tyrants faction.
