Discord Nitro Subscribers Now Have Access to the Game Pass Starter Pack
Discord has officially launched the new Nitro Rewards program to make its Nitro subscription more attractive. Thanks to collaborations with brands like Microsoft, Logitech, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek, subscribers will be offered game and hardware discounts, as well as in-platform rewards. This new system aims to make the subscription more fulfilling, especially for those who actively use Discord for both gaming and community purposes.
Discord Nitro Rewards Program Launched
The most notable advantage of the program is the Xbox Game Pass starter package offered to Discord Nitro subscribers at no extra cost. This package gives PC and Xbox users access to over 50 games. The inclusion of popular titles like Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, and DayZ makes the package particularly appealing to those who want to try different genres of games.
The Xbox Game Pass starter package isn’t limited to downloadable games. Users also get 10 hours of cloud gaming time per month via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Additionally, the package includes the opportunity to earn up to $25 in annual rewards from the Xbox Store. This structure makes the Nitro subscription more directly linked to gaming services.
Nitro Rewards also includes hardware discounts. Subscribers can enjoy discounts of up to 30% on Logitech G products, 15% on SteelSeries products, and 20% on KontrolFreek products. These advantages show that the program isn’t just about digital content, especially for gamers considering equipment upgrades.
Discord will also give its subscribers 250 Orbs each month. This in-app currency can be used for avatar decorations and various digital bonuses. Discord Senior Director of Product, Lu Zhang, stated that Xbox is one of the flagship partners in the program and that Nitro Rewards could expand with more benefits in the future. The company aims to develop this new rewards system into a larger subscription ecosystem over time.
