Dispatch Surpasses 2 Million Sales in One Month
Dispatch has become one of the most talked-about games in the indie game scene in recent weeks, and its sales success continues to grow at the same pace. New data released for Dispatch shows that the game has surpassed 2 million copies sold in just one month. This interest, particularly fueled by the release of the final two episodes last week, demonstrates that the game has quickly built a large community. Thus, Dispatch’s success, which began with two episodes on Steam, has grown significantly with the full season.
Dispatch Rocks the Indie Scene with Record Sales
AdHoc Studios announced that Dispatch has surpassed 2 million sales. This achievement is considered extremely impressive for an independent game. The studio’s celebratory artwork centers on Beef, one of Dispatch followers’ favorite characters. While this artwork may have a slightly somber tone due to the season’s end, it clearly demonstrates the team’s gratitude to their fans.
The Telltale-based developers played a significant role in Dispatch’s rapid rise. Its choice-based narrative, branching dialogue, and outcome-driven progression made Dispatch the best-selling game on Steam with its first episode. Furthermore, Dispatch surpassed 1 million sales just ten days after its release, making it one of the fastest-growing indie games of the year. The completion of all episodes further fueled this interest.
The fact that the game is currently only available on PC and PlayStation 5 demonstrates that Dispatch still has significant growth potential. While a port for Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch 2 hasn’t been announced, community anticipation continues to grow. This sales momentum, in particular, is being interpreted as a significant sign that strengthens the possibility of a second season for the studio.
While Season 2 hasn’t yet been officially confirmed for Dispatch, statements from AdHoc Studios are promising. Given the years of development, it’s clear the studio won’t rush it. But it’s clear that Dispatch has made a huge impact, thanks to both its sales success and its nomination for The Game Awards.
