Even $800 Would be Cheap for GTA 6

The discussions surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI, one of the most anticipated titles in the gaming world, continue unabated. Besides the release date, another topic of great interest is the game’s price. While Rockstar hasn’t officially announced a price yet, various predictions continue to circulate within the industry. Most recently, popular streamer xQc joined the debate with a rather noteworthy comment.

xQc’s $800 Comment for GTA 6 Sparks Controversy

During a stream, xQc made a rather unusual assessment of GTA 6’s potential value. According to the streamer, considering the amount of content the game offers, GTA 6 could theoretically be worth as much as $800. Of course, xQc clarified that this wasn’t a realistic price expectation, but rather a way to highlight the sheer volume of content the game would offer.

According to the publisher, GTA 6’s story mode alone will offer players tens of hours of experience. Adding the online mode and long-term content updates, they believe the total gameplay time could reach hundreds of hours. In their opinion, content on this scale commands a very high price tag compared to modern game pricing.

Of course, this comment is seen as fueling much debate. Rockstar and its parent company Take-Two Interactive have not yet made any official statement about the price of GTA 6. However, the fact that some major titles have reached the $80 level in recent years strengthens the possibility that GTA 6 could have a similar price tag.

For now, the only thing certain is that GTA 6 has generated great anticipation in the gaming world. Regardless of the price, almost everyone believes that Rockstar’s new game will have a significant impact on the industry upon its release.
